Abstract

As an important place for knowledge reserve and information dissemination,the hospital library plays a non-negligible role in the renewal of knowledge and the enhancement of skills among nursing staff.Therefore,an in-depth exploration of optimizing the services of the hospital library for nursing readers has become a crucial part of improving the overall quality of nursing services.This study analyzed the current situation of hospital library services,the feedback on the needs of nursing staff,and the existing service models and resource allocation through online research and literature review.It was found that there were problems such as insufficient construction funds,inadequate resource promotion,and unsmooth information channels.Consequently,optimization suggestions were put forward,including strengening the construction of funds and resources,enhancing the construction of information dissemination channels,and intensifying the in-depth promotion of services.By implementing these optimization measures,the professional development of nursing staff could be more effectively supported,thereby improving their professional skills,which also enabled patients to receive higher-quality nursing services.This fully reflects the significance of the research on optimizing services of the hospital library for nursing readers.It is not only related to the development of nursing staff themselves,but also to the improvement of the overall quality of medical services.
