Current status and progress of diagnosis and treatment of gestational di-abetes mellitus

Abstract
Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)is a common clinical complication of pregnancy,which causes short-term and long-term adverse effects on both mother and offspring.In recent years,the incidence has gradually increased,so it is particularly important to standardize the screening and management of GDM.Effective screening facilitates timely and standardized management and treatment.With the improvement of medical level and the continuous deepening of clinical research,Chinese medicine research has been gradually promoted,and traditional Chinese medicine treatment programs have been added to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of GDM,and more other drug treatment programs have been tried to explore.Therefore,the clinical trial data of integrated Chinese and western medicine and other drugs in the treatment of GDM have been accumulated continuously,and have good clinical application results.This paper analyzes and discusses the existing screening and treatment plans for GDM,and points out that on the basis of traditional treatment,more and more clinical practices have proved that integrated Chinese and western medicine not only has significant effect on GDM patients,but also can prevent adverse outcomes of newborns,which may become a new trend of treatment plans.It provides more clinical reference for the future treatment of GDM.关键词
