Extracellular Enzyme Activities of Schizophyllum commune

Abstract
In this study,three different Schizophyllum commune Fr.strains(L1,L2,L3)were selected for the analysis of biological activity in eight kinds of extracellular enzymes during various growth periods of early mycelium,half-bagging or full-bagging and fruiting body as well.Exploration of the relationship between enzyme activities and yields cultivated on the medium containing substrates of grape branches revealed that the extracellular enzyme activities were very much crucial to the production ability of S.commune during the full-bagging period.During the growth period of fruiting body,however,the activities of extracellular enzymes were detected at a very low level.Some of the extracellular enzyme activities were found commonly between the different strains,while some differed from each other which also showed a difference in their yields.Basing on the results obtained at the present study,hemicellulase and xylanase were considered as the mostly important extracellular enzymes during the growth of S.commune.关键词
