Abstract
Ancient villages are the products of natural environments and possess rich ecological wisdom.Studying their ecological strategies is of great significance.Wengyangchong Village in Wuhan City is a century-old village that contains many ecological insights.This paper takes Wengyangchong Village as the research object.Through literature review,on-site investigation,and communication with villagers,relevant data on the ancient village were obtained.From the perspective of water environment restoration,the paper analyzes the ancient village and dis-covers that it has formed a three-level water management system of"mountains,waters,forests,fields-village streets and alleys-traditional buildings"in history.On this basis,a revitalization and regeneration strategy is proposed to restore the water environment of the ancient village and create a harmonious and livable village where humans and water coexist,with the aim of providing references for the protection and sustain-able development of ancient villages.关键词
