摘要

Abstract

In traditional steel frame design,beam-column joint connections are often preset by designers' experience.Ignoring different con-nection forms'impact on the frame structure causes a lack of comprehensiveness and integrity in performance analysis.This study proposes an active semi-rigid connection design strategy and applies it to building structure design and optimization.Using an improved genetic algorithm and through research on a two-span ten-story frame structure,it's found that this method can optimize and reduce cost.The algorithm can also accelerate the process and give good results.
