摘要

Abstract

As for low output power and small energy harvest range of existing piezoelectric energy harvesting devices,a novel self-limiting bistable piezoelectric energy harvesting device is proposed to harvest rotational energy.The bistable cantilever beam can obtain a large displacement,in order that the piezoelectric sheet affixed to the root of the cantilever beam can lead a large deformation to achieve a high electrical output.A curved boundary is also introduced to limit the cantilever beam to prevent the breakage of piezoelectric sheet induced by excessive deformation of the cantilever beam.When the cantilever beam strikes the curved boundary to generate vibration,it further enhances the electrical output of device.Compared with the structure without bistability,the device proposed is been further optimized,and the experimental and simulation analysis results show the maximum average power is increased by 21%,and the energy at high rotating speed can be collected.
