Rural digitalization,green technology innovation and food total factor productivity

Abstract
Based on panel data collected in 26 provinces of China from 2008 to 2022,an index system was constructed to measure the level of rural digitalization and the total factor productivity of rice,maize,wheat and other grains,and the impact mechanism of rural digitalization on the food total factor productivity was analyzed by using the two-way fixed effect and moderating effect model,and the spatial econometric model was constructed to explore the spatial effect of rural digital development on the food total factor productivity.The results show that rural digitalization has a significant promoting effect on food total factor productivity,and that regional differences exist with regard to this.Green technology innovation plays a moderating role in the process of rural digitalization affecting the food total factor productivity.Rural digitalization has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on food total factor productivity.Accordingly,it is recommended that the government provide policy references for achieving the goal of enhancing grain production capacity by advocating the optimization of water resources,land resources and mechanical energy conservation,reducing carbon emissions,promoting the development of circular agriculture,as well as carrying out regional cooperation to jointly protect the environment.关键词
