双糖链蛋白聚糖调控恶性肿瘤的分子机制研究进展
Research advances on the molecular mechanisms of biglycan in regulating malignant tumors
摘要
Abstract
The extracellular matrix(ECM)plays a pivotal role in maintaining tissue architecture and medi-at-ing extracellular signaling.Biglycan(BGN),a small leucine-rich proteoglycan,serves as a core component of the ECM.It participates in physiological regulation by orchestrating collagen fiber scaffold assembly and me-diating intercellular signaling pathways.BGN exhibits overexpression features in various malignant tumors,with its expression levels significantly correlated with tumor aggressiveness and poor clinical prog-nosis.In metastatic malignancies,aberrant BGN expression facilitates tumor cell migration and invasion,high-lighting its role as a critical regulatory molecule throughout tumorigenesis.This review elucidated BGN-regu-lated sig-naling pathways and functional heterogeneity across different cancer types,and systematically sum-marized the as-sociation between BGN overexpression and invasive tumor growth coupled with unfavorable clinical out-comes,thereby providing insights for developing BGN-targeted anticancer therapeutic strategies.关键词
