Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effect of occlusal induced orthodontic apparatus combined with muscle func-tion training on the hard and soft tissue of mandible in the treatment of early children with Angle Class Ⅱ malocclusion.Methods:A total of 80 children with Class Ⅱ malocclusion treated in our hospital from February 2019 to March 2023 were se-lected as research objects,and divided into observation group(with occlusal induced appliance combined with muscle function training)and control group(with occlusal induced appliance)according to random number table method.The gap closing time,occlusal opening time,alignment time,molar displacement time,total maxillary arch length,SNA,SNB,ANB,MP-SN,MP-FH,U1-SN,L1-MP,U1-NA,L1-NB,L1-NB distance,ULP,LLP,Ulip-E,Llip-E,Z Angle.Results:The closing time of dental space,occlusal opening time,alignment time and molar displacement time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total length of the upper dental arch between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The total length of inferior dental arch after orthodontic treatment was longer than that before treatment,and the total length of inferior dental arch in the observation group was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in SNA Angle,SNB Angle,MP-SH Angle and MP-FH Angle between 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).After orthodontic treatment,the ANB,U1-SN,U1-NA Angle and U1-NA distance were lower,and the L1-MP,L1-NB Angle and L1-NB distance were higher than before treatment(P<0.05),and the ANB,U1-SN,U1-NA Angle and U1-NA distance in the observation group were lower,while the L1-MP Angle,L1-NB An-gle and L1-NB distance were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in UIip-E between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).After orthodontic treatment,the ULP and LLP were lower,and the Z Angle was higher than before treatment(P<0.05),the LIip-E of the observation group was lower than that before treat-ment(P<0.05).After orthodontic treatment,ULP and LLP in observation group were lower than control group,while Z Angle was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Occlusal induced orthodontic device combined with muscle function training has a significant effect on the treatment of Class Ⅱ malocclusion,which is conducive to improving the maxillary and mandibular relationship,reducing coverage,and playing a positive role in establishing normal occlusal relationship.
