Abstract
Most of the previous researches on array beamforming technology is devoted to addressing the challeng-es of achieving high gain and minimizing sidelobes of transmitting beam.However,with the continuous development of intelligent jammer technology and anti-radiation technology,the array transmitting beam is more likely to be detected and perceived by the other side,which makes the battlefield survival problem of radar system more prominent.To opti-mize the transmitting power of array beams and improve the anti-detection capability of array radars,a phase-only beam-forming method for dual-polarization array transmit beam based on convex optimization theory is proposed in this paper.This technique produces a high-gain main lobe beam with a specific polarization state and sidelobe nulls in the polariza-tion-space joint domain,which is achieved by controlling the amplitudes and phases of the pattern of the horizontal and vertical arrays,thereby reducing the transmission power in the interference region and making the main-lobe distortion smaller.In numerical simulations,the non-convex problem associated with the phase-only constraint is reformulated into a convex optimization problem via Taylor expansion.The simulation results demonstrate the correctness of the proposed method.关键词
