Abstract

A cloud edge collaborative visibility monitoring method is proposed to address the high cost of surface visibility monitoring in open-pit mines.Using the positioning information of the truck and the images obtained from the mobile onboard camera as raw data,the transmittance information of the images is calculated based on the dark channel prior theory,and the visibility information of the truck's location is then calculated and uploaded to the server.On this basis,assuming that the visibility changes on the surface of the open-pit mine follow the characteristics of a stationary stochastic process in space,the entire open-pit mine is estimated using kriging based on the visibility information calculated by all trucks,and the spatiotemporal distribution of the open-pit mine surface visibility is finally obtained.The experiment conducted in Xinjiang jiangna Open-pit Mine finds that in terms of accuracy,the average absolute error percentage of this method is 9.2%,indicating high precision;in terms of real-time performance,the monitoring results can dynamically track the actual changes in surface visibility of open-pit mines.The monitoring method has the ability to dynamically monitor the spatiotemporal visibility of open-pit mines.
