《五号屠场》对战争创伤的后现代书写
The Postmodern Writing of War Trauma in Slaughterhouse Five
摘要
Abstract
The famous American writer Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five has become a representative work of postmodern literature due to its intertwined narrative, juxtaposition of text and subtext, and blank spaces in language and narrative. The intertwined narrative of time and space interweaves the past, present, and future, forming a unique narrative time, switching between real war scenes and illusory starry journeys, making it difficult to distinguish between true and false, revealing the cruelty of war from a side view. The juxtaposition of text and subtext creates a stark contrast between open disaster scenes and hidden inner pain, revealing the destructive consequences of war.The blank spaces at the language and narrative levels make the story plots piece together like a kaleidoscope of fragments, placing readers in an infinite space of imagination, indirectly participating in the recreation of art works, and experiencing more deeply the profound disasters brought about by war.The above-mentioned techniques endow postmodern novels with deeper meaning and expression, allowing readers to experience a richer and more open literary charm.关键词
