From Awakening,Self-Salvation to Transcendence:On the Growth of Women in Oates's Novels
摘要
Abstract
With her unique female perspective and delicate brushwork,Oates reveals the living situation of women in different classes and creates many female images with distinct personalities,which reflects her profound thinking on contemporary women's issues and her increasingly mature female consciousness.These female images reflect the interwoven conflict between the lack of female consciousness and awakening,and they can also see the process from helplessness,resistance to calm to pursue self-orientation and life.The main manifestations are the survival dilemma of women's growth,the resistance and radical self-rescue in female growth,the inner transcendence and rational return of women's growth.关键词
