摘要

Abstract

In view of the high loss rate of Gleditsia sinensis seed cleaning resulting from the stickiness of crushed material and the release of unpleasant odor and dust during the sorting process,a gas suction-type Gleditsia sinensis seed cleaning device was designed.The composition and material characteristics of crushed Gleditsia sinensis were measured,and the cleaning performant of the device was analyzed using the CFD-DEM coupling method for simulation.A single-factor sim-ulation experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of air inlet wind speed,feeding amount,and cleaning height on cleaning loss rate and grain impurity content,which were used as evaluation indicators.The optimal operating parame-ters of the cleaning device were determined as follows:the wind speed at the air outlet ranged from 8 to 10 m/s,the feeding rate went from 0.6 to 0.8 kg/s,and the cleaning height ranged from 0.02 to 0.04 m.Prototype testing demon-strated that the most effective cleaning was achieved at a wind speed of 9 m/s at the air outlet,a feeding rate of 0.7 kg/s,and a cleaning height of 0.03 m.
