Abstract
With the development of large-scale wind power,flexible direct transmission,which does not require reactive power compensation,has a larger transmission capacity with no loss in long-distance transmission,and is becoming the mainstream transmission solution for offshore wind power over hundreds of kilometers.DC submarine cable is a key component for offshore flexible straight engineering.The rational selection of DC submarine cable and the adaptive optimization of line design are of great significance for improving the overall economy of offshore wind power flexible straight engineering.In this paper,extensive theoretical research,design calculations,simulation experiments,and equipment development were conducted to study the key technologies of variable cross-section design for ultra-high voltage flexible DC submarine cables.From the design perspective,the impact mechanism of different conductor cross-sections on the cost of DC centralized transmission schemes was revealed,and the selection and optimization suggestions were proposed for the coordinated improvement of the comfort zone and bottleneck zone of submarine cable flow,which is of important reference value for the optimization of submarine cable selection and cost control of long-distance DC transmission lines,and supports the reliable and efficient transmission of large-scale offshore wind power.关键词
