Abstract

The Qinling Mountains,serving as the climate divide between north and south China and a crucial ecological security barrier,clarifying the spatial differences of its typical ecosystem services and topographic gradient effects is vital for ecological security and sustainable development.Using methods like InVEST and CASA and multi-source remote sensing data,the typical ecosystem services in Qinling's ecological protection areas in 2020 were estimated.Gradient effects were analyzed by combining four topographic factors such as elevation and slope.The importance of multiple ecosystem services was classified and its gradient effects on topographic factors were studied.Results show:Ecosystem services have significant spatial regional differentiation,with high-value areas being ecological land like forests and grasslands and low-value areas being construction land;There are large topographic differences in Qinling's ecological protection areas,with topographic relief decreasing from the center to the periphery and topographic position index decreasing from northwest to southeast;Ecosystem services show obvious spatial differentiation on topographic gradients.Habitat quality improves with the increase of topographic factor gradients,while water yield service is opposite.Soil conservation shows a linear growth with the increase of slope and other gradients,and vegetation carbon sequestration shows a logarithmic growth with the increase of slope and topographic position index gradients.The research provides a reference for Qinling's ecological protection and sustainable development.
