Abstract

Rail tuned mass dampers(TMDs)are an effective means to reduce wheel-rail vibration and noise,but their specific impact on the internal noise of intercity trains still needs further study.In this paper,the vibration finite element model and noise boundary element model of the rail dynamic vibration absorber are established based on the finite element method and the acoustic boundary element method,and its vibration reduction and noise reduction performance are analyzed in depth.At the same time,the Statistical Energy Analysis(SEA)method was used to establish a prediction model for internal noise of intercity trains with speeds of 160 kilometers per hour to evaluate the impact of dynamic vibration absorbers on noise levels.The results show that the rail dynamic vibration absorber can reduce the wheel-rail noise well,which can reduce the wheel-rail noise by 3.2 dB(A),but the interior noise can only be reduced by 0.5 dB(A),which is related to the design frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber.The rail dynamic vibration absorber analyzed in this paper is mainly used to reduce the vibration at the frequency of 1000 Hz,and the interior noise is not dominant in this frequency range.It can be seen that targeted design of TMD tuning frequency is very important to reduce the interior noise of the vehicle.
