Abstract

Jacket foundation has become the preferred foundation form for more and more offshore wind farms because of its large overall stiffness.In Guangxi and other coastal areas where the geological conditions of seabed are bedrock,the wind turbine foundation is often built by implanting steel pipe piles after drilling and grouting treatment at the pile side.However,the research on the vertical bearing capacity characteristics of offshore wind turbine jacket foundation is still incomplete and the results are not uniform.In this paper,the finite element software ABAQUS is used to establish the model of three-pile jacket foundation,and the vertical load is applied step by step by displacement control method.The evaluation standard of vertical ultimate bearing capacity suitable for the embedded rock-socketed three-pile jacket foundation is studied and the influence of rock-socketed depth and jacket stiffness on the vertical bearing capacity of the foundation is analyzed.The results show that,(a)the seabed of rock stratum is hard,which has a good bearing effect on the three-pile jacket foundation,and no plastic strain occurs during the bearing process,so the yield strength of the steel structure in flange connection section of the upper part of foundation can be used as the criterion for judging the vertical ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation;(b)the vertical bearing capacity is mainly composed of pile tip resistance and side friction resistance,and the pile tip resistance accounts for a large proportion in the bearing capacity;(c)increasing the rock-socketed depth can improve the vertical bearing capacity of the foundation,the vertical ultimate bearing capacity and the bearing ratio of side friction,and too small rock-socketed depth will lead to greater foundation stress;and(d)increasing the stiffness of jacket can effectively reduce the local stress of foundation and increase the vertical bearing capacity,but it has little effect on the side friction.
