摘要

Abstract

Superabsorbent polymers(SAP),characterized by their unique three-dimensional ionic network structure,are capable of absorbing and retaining water-based liquids hundreds of times their own weight,making them a research hotspot in the field of functional polymer materials.The article introduces the classification of SAP,summarizes and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various synthesis methods,and focuses on the methods and mechanisms for improving the salt resistance,water absorption,and mechanical properties of SAP.It also reviews the applications of SAP in agriculture,gardening,biomedicine,industry,and fiber spinning.Finally,based on the existing problems in the research and application of SAP,the future research directions are pointed out.
