Diversity analysis of fruit correlated character in 25 melon germplasms resources

Abstract
China has abundant germplasm resources of cantaloupe.In order to effectively protect and utilize melon germplasm resources,this study investigated and analyzed the fruit traits of 25 open field cultivated melon germplasm resources.The results showed that the diversity index of fruit quality traits ranged from 0.00-1.98,and the coefficient of variation ranged from 0.00%-59.20%.The diversity index of the background color of the fruit peel is the highest,at 1.98,with a coefficient of variation of 53.45%;The shape of the fruit is second,with a coefficient of variation of 54.94%and a value of 1.68.The diversity index of quantitative traits ranges from 1.73-1.94,with a coefficient of variation between 2.67%-61.04%.Among them,the diversity index of total acids is the highest,at 1.94,with a coefficient of variation of 20.09%.Cluster analysis was conducted on the quantitative traits of fruits,and 25 melon germplasm resources were divided into 5 categories.Among them,the Ⅳ category had the highest average content of soluble protein,total acid,and soluble sugar among the 5 groups.In summary,the fruit agronomic traits of the tested melon germplasm resources have rich diversity,which can provide a theoretical basis for the innovation of melon germplasm resources and the breeding of new varieties.关键词
