摘要

Abstract

Numerical simulation,with its own characteristics of capturing physical quantities and motion information in the whole pro-cess,can realize the monitoring and optimization of the operating parameters of multiple subsystems in photoelectric sorting.In this pa-per,the application of numerical simulation in the three systems of ore feeding,transportation detection and sorting in the photoelectric sorting process is discussed in detail.The use of discrete element method(DEM)in the feeding system can optimize the uniformity of feeding,improve the feeding system capacity and increase the stability of the system operation;the use of DEM or DEM-coupled finite element analysis(FEA)in the transportation detection system can be used to track and locate the ore,optimize the design of the convey-or belt and the operating parameters,and promote the efficiency and stability of the ore transport;the use of CFD-DEM in the sorting system can be used to optimize the efficiency and stability of the ore transport,which to optimize the nozzle structure,nozzle layout pa-rameters and operating factors to match the design and capture the trajectory of the blown ore,greatly enhancing the optimization and upgrading process of the equipment.With the increasing improvement of computer performance,real-time simulation and online optimi-zation of process parameters can be developed,combined with the current trend of artificial intelligence,to further improve the intelli-gence and automation of the photoelectric sorting equipment is the direction of development of this technology in the future.Numerical simulation will continue to play an important role in the subsequent research and development of the photoelectric sorting system,pro-viding technical support for the efficient utilization of ore resources and green beneficiation.
