Abstract
Special topics and columns are an important component of medical sci-tech journals.Whether their content conforms to the direction of social development,is close to clinical hotspots and difficulties,and has a certain breadth and depth is an important factor that determines the influence,competitiveness,and vitality of medical sci-tech journals.The topic selection and planning of a special column is the first step in editing and publishing,and the topic selection and planning ability of editors is particularly important.This article takes the topic selection and planning of the special column article"Development History of Geriatric Stomatology in China"published in Chinese J ournal of Practical Stomatology as the starting point,and explores the new topic selection and planning models and methods of special columns in medical sci-tech journals in recent years,especially the auxiliary application of artificial intelligence technology,to provide reference for improving the topic selection and planning ability of medical sci-tech journals editors.关键词
