Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on wound healing and pain degree after the procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)in patients with mixed hemorrhoids.Methods A total of 60 patients with mixed hemorrhoids admitted to Yushan Boai Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.While,in the control group,patients were treated with routine basic treatment,and in the study group,patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation.The postoperative healing,pain degree(VAS score,VRS score,PPI score),perianal edema score,quality of life(energy,social function,physiological function,physiological function,physical pain,emotional function,mental health)and complications(urinary retention,constipation,anal stenosis,incision infection,wound bleeding)were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the total healing rate of 73.33%in the control group,the total healing rate of the study group was higher,reaching 96.67%(P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,the VAS score,VRS score and PPI score of the two groups decreased after treatment,and compared with the control group,the VAS score,VRS score and PPI score of the study group were lower after treatment(P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,the scores of perianal edema in the two groups were decreased at 7 and 14 days after treatment,and compared with the control group,the scores of perianal edema in the study group were lower at 7 and 14 days after treatment(P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,the scores of each dimension of quality of life in the two groups increased after treatment,and compared with the control group,the scores of each dimension of quality of life in the study group were higher after treatment(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the incidence of complications in the study group was lower(P＜0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment can improve the healing effect and quality of life of patients with mixed hemorrhoids after PPH,improve the degree of pain and perianal edema,and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.It is worthy of clinical application.关键词
