Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of gastrokine 2(GKN2),chemokine 17(CCL17),and cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1(CYFRA21-1)in gastric cancer and their relationship with the pathological characteristics and prognosis of patients.Methods Eighty patients diagnosed with gastric cancer by surgical pathology at Kaifeng Central Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the gastric cancer group.Another 50 patients with healthy check-ups during the same period were chosen as the healthy control group.Gastric tissue specimens from all subjects were collected to detect the expression of GKN2,CCL17,and CYFRA21-1.The relationship between the expression of these markers,the pathological characteristics of gastric cancer,and patient survival was analyzed.Results The positive expression rate of GKN2 in the gastric cancer group was significantly lower than that in the healthy control group,whereas the positive expression rates of CCL17 and CYFRA21-1 were significantly higher,with all differences being statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the expression levels of GKN2,CCL17,and CYFRA21-1 across different tumor differentiation degrees(P＞0.05);however,significant differences were found with lymph node metastasis,tumor diameter,and TNM staging(P＜0.05).Survival curves differed according to GKN2,CCL17,and CYFRA21-1 expression levels.Patients with low GKN2 expression had lower survival rates and shorter survival times,whereas those with high GKN2 expression had higher survival rates and longer survival times.Patients with low CCL17 and CYFRA21-1 expression had higher survival rates and longer survival times,while those with high expression had lower survival rates and shorter survival times.Multiple regression analysis showed that CYFRA21-1 expression was an influencing factor for lymph node metastasis,tumor diameter,and TNM stage in gastric cancer patients.Conclusion The expression rate of GKN2 is low,while the expression rates of CCL17 and CYFRA21-1 are high in gastric cancer tissues.The expression of CYFRA21-1 influences lymph node metastasis,tumor diameter,and TNM staging,thereby impacting the prognosis of gastric cancer patients.关键词
