血清lncRNA HULC、miR-203表达与HBV相关HCC患者临床特征、总生存率及无复发生存率的关系研究
Study on the Relationship Between Serum lncRNA HULC,miR-203 Expression and Clinical Characteristics,Overall Survival,and Recurrence-Free Survival in HBV-Related HCC Patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum levels of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)highly up-regulated in liver cancer(HULC),microRNA-203(miR-203),and clinical characteristics,overall survival,and recurrence-free survival in patients with hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods A total of 200 HBV-related HCC patients treated at The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University from January 2018 to January 2020 were included.Based on the median expression levels of serum lncRNA HULC and miR-203,the patients were divided into four groups:high expression of lncRNA HULC(n=95),low expression of lncRNA HULC(n=105),high expression of miR-203(n=112),and low expression of miR-203(n=88).The relationship between different expressions of lncRNA HULC and miR-203 and patient clinical characteristics,overall survival,and recurrence-free survival was analyzed.Results High expression of lncRNA HULC was associated with TNM staging,intrahepatic metastasis,distant metastasis,and postoperative recurrence in HBV-related HCC patients(P＜0.05).Low expression of miR-203 was also associated with TNM staging,intrahepatic metastasis,distant metastasis,and postoperative recurrence in HBV-related HCC patients(P＜0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that patients with high serum lncRNA HULC and low miR-203 expression had lower overall survival rates(38.7%and 37.8%)and lower recurrence-free survival rates(10.1%and 9.1%)compared to those with low lncRNA HULC and high miR-203 expression(81.2%and 89.7%for overall survival;43.7%and 56.4%for recurrence-free survival),with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Cox proportional hazards regression analysis revealed that postoperative recurrence,high lncRNA HULC expression,and low miR-203 expression were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of HBV-related HCC patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion Serum levels of lncRNA HULC and miR-203 are correlated with clinical characteristics,overall survival,and recurrence-free survival in patients with HBV-related HCC.关键词
