Abstract
Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS)is prevalent throughout the world,causing huge losses to pig industry.An accurate,rapid,efficient and safe method for detecting PRRS will be conducive to the prevention and control of the disease.Conventional pathogenetic detection methods for PRRS are time-consuming,relying on specialized instruments and operators,and are mostly used for scientific researches.For the immunological technologies,the ELISA is cost effective and suitable for testing mass samples,rather than early infection detection.Molecular biotechnologies such as reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR and digital PCR(dPCR)are rapid with high sensitivity and specificity,and are widely used for PRRS laboratory testing,but cannot be promoted at the grassroots level;and isothermal amplification technology is time-saving with higher sensitivity,and suitable for clinical rapid detection of PRRS,as no complex instruments and cumbersome reaction procedures are needed.Technology for detecting PRRS is greatly driven by the combination of different detection methods and emerging reagents and technologies.In the article,the advances of PRRS detection technologies were reviewed from the aspects of conventional pathogenesis,immunology and molecular biotechnology,the advantages and shortages of each method were analyzed,aiming to provide a reference for the establishment and application of a more rapid,convenient and accurate method for detecting PRRS.关键词
