Abstract
Barite is one of the advantageous and characteristic non-metallic mineral resources in China,and its demand in strategic emerging industries is increasing.In Shandong province,17 barite deposits have been discovered,all of which are formed by medium-low temperature hydrothermal fissure filling and metasomatism.They are mainly distributed in the junction area of the Jiaolai basin and the Yishu fault zone,as well as the Wulian-Qingdao fault zone,and the ore-bearing strata are mostly Mesozoic Cretaceous sedimentary rocks of inland rivers and lakes.This paper systematically summarizes the resource distribution characteristics and exploration,development and utilization status of barite deposits in Shandong province,analyzes the main existing problems,and puts forward suggestions for the exploration,development and utilization of barite deposits.关键词
