Abstract

The preparation of short-term allotment plans for open-pit mines is a prerequisite for ensuring the quality of ore dressing,and relies on accurate updates of the current status of the mining area as well as the determination of ore grades.In order to solve the prob-lems of slow speed and low accuracy of manual mapping,which cannot meet the requirements of short-term mining plan preparation,a short-term plan preparation program for open-pit mines based on drones and rock powder database was adopted.The changes in the sta-tus quo of the mining area before and after short-term mining as well as the changes in the average grade were compared,and the fluc-tuation value of the average grade of the ore was calculated.The results show that the short-term planning using drone aerial survey and rock flour database can improve the mapping efficiency and the estimation of ore grade,so as to realize the accurate allocation of ore.
