Research progress of lymphocyte activation gene 3 and its role in infectious diseases
摘要
Abstract
Infectious diseases refer to various diseases caused by pathogens invading human body.Lymphocyte activation gene 3(LAG-3)is a negative immune checkpoint molecule similar to CD4.Most studies have found that LAG-3 plays a regulatory role in occurrence and development of infectious diseases(acquired immunodeficiency disease,active pulmonary tuberculosis,chronic hepa-titis B,falciparum malaria)via inhibiting activation and function of CD4+T and CD8+T cells,and can serve as an effective potential immunotherapy target.This article will summarize researches of LAG-3 and its roles in infectious disease.关键词
