Tracking and prospect of agricultural methane emissions in China since the 21st century:Visual analysis based on CiteSpace

摘要

Abstract

To clarify the research hotspots and trends in agricultural methane emissions in China since the 21st century,a visualization analysis was conducted using CiteSpace software on 557 agricultural methane emission related literature collected in the Chinese Academic Journal Network Publishing Database(CNKI)from 2001 to 2023.The results show that:1)The phased characteristics of publications in this field are more obvious.It can be divided into a rapid upward period and a fluctuating development period.The number of publications is greatly influenced by policies.2)There are many scholars and research institutions,but the cooperation between scholars and research institutions needs to be strengthened.3)The research hotspots mainly include the influencing factors on agricultural methane emissions,estimation and spatiotemporal characteristics analysis of agricultural methane emissions in different regions,and analysis and potential evaluation of measures for reducing agricultural methane emissions.4)The research trends mainly focusing on analyzing comprehensive emission reduction measures,coordinating the relationship between emission reduction targets and production changes,utilizing socio-economic perspectives,and referencing international emission reduction progress and insights.In summary,although China has achieved fruitful results in research on agricultural methane emissions,it is still necessary to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between scholars and institutions in the future and more attention should be given to the research and development,promotion,and combination of simplified emission reduction technologies,as well as the government's contribution to emission reduction.
