Analysis of the efficacy of 0.01％atropine eye drops combined with defocus lenses in controlling myopia in adoles-cents

Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of using 0.01％atropine eye drops combined with defocused lenses to control myopia in adolescents.Methods A retrospective analysis of 80 adolescent myopia patients from January 2023 to June 2023,including 43 cases in the control group,used defocused frame lenses(DIMS);37 cases in the study group,used defocused frame lenses combined with 0.01％Atropine(ATP)eye drops were used to control myopia,and the patients were observed continuously for one year to compare the changes in diopter(SE)and axial length(AL)between the two groups.Results Within 1 year,AL increased by 0.21±0.18mm in the DIMS+ATP combined group and 0.32±0.13mm in the DIMS group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.001).The progression of myopia within 1 year increased by 0.49±0.23D in the DIMS+ATP combined group and by 0.81±0.16D in the DIMS group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.001).Conclusion The combined use of defocused lenses and low-concentration atropine eye drops is more effective in controlling myopia and can effectively control the progression of myopia.关键词
