Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship of serum cortisol,brain-derived neurotrophic factor and the sever-ity and prognosis of retinopathy of prematurity.Methods A total of 104 preterm infants with retinopathy admitted to our hos-pital were selected as the study group,and 40 preterm infants without ROP during the same period were selected as the control group.The levels of Cor,BDNF,VEGF and IGF-1 in the two groups were compared and different stages were observed.The levels of Cor,BDNF,VEGF,IGF-1 and Glu were different in children with different prognosis.Pearson model was used to analyze the correlation between Cor,BDNF and VEGF,IGF-1 and Glu levels,and ROC curve was used to analyze the prognostic value of Cor and BDNF in children with ROP.Results The levels of Cor,VEGF and Glu in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and increased with the increase of disease stage.The levels of BDNF and IGF-1 in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and decreased with the increase of disease stage(P＜0.05).The levels of Cor,VEGF and Glu in deteriorating group were higher than those in improving group,while the levels of BDNF and IGF-1 were lower than those in improving group(P＜0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that Cor was positively correlated with VEGF,Glu and disease stage,but negatively correlated with IGF-1.BDNF was negatively correlated with VEGF,Glu and disease stage,but positively correlated with IGF-1(P＜0.05).ROC curve results showed that the AUC of Cor ROC curve was 0.874,standard error 0.030,95％CI 0.816～0.932,and the AUC of BDNF ROC curve was 0.825,standard error 0.035,95％CI 0.756～0.894,which had high prediction efficiency.Conclusion The level of Cor in children with ROP is increased,and the level of BDNF is decreased,and Cor and BDNF are correlated with the disease stage and progno-sis.The use of Cor and BDNF has high efficacy in predicting the prognosis of children with ROP.关键词
