Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of orthokeratology combined with 0.01%low concentration atropine or repeated low-level red-light(RLRL)on myopia progression in children and adolescents based on mesh meta-analy-sis.Methods CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,SinoMed,Web of Science,PubMed,Cochrane Library and Embase database to September,2024,RCT related to the control of myopia in children and adolescents by orthokeratology com-bined with 0.01%low concentration atropine or RLRL was extracted and sorted out.RevMan 5.4 and Stata 18.0 software were used for literature bias risk analysis and mesh meta-analysis.Results Finally,11 literatures were included, with a total of 1128 patients. The results showed that compared with the orthokeratology(OK)group, orthokeratology combined with RLRL(RCO)[WMD=-0.23,95%CI(-0.35~-0.12)],orthokeratology combined with 0.01%low concentration atropine(OKA)group[WMD=-0.13,95%CI(-0.20~-0.06)]could significantly control the growth of axial length, delay the diopter change of myopia[WMD=-0.17,95%CI(-0.21~-0.13),P<0.05],and increase the thickness of choroid in macular fovea[WMD=10.91,95%CI(5.55~16.28),P<0.05];Compared with the OK group, there was no significant difference between the RCO and OKA groups at the 3 month of intervention(3mo:[WMD=-0.03,95%CI(-0.07~0.01),P>0.05)),and the axial length changes at the 6th,12th and 24th months were significantly decreased(6mo:[WMD=-0.10,95%CI(-0.15~-0.05),P<0.05],12mo:[WMD=-0.15,95%CI(-0.22~-0.09),P<0.05],24mo:[WMD=-0.15,95%CI(-0.22~-0.08),P<0.05]);The incidence of adverse events in RCO,OKA and OK groups was low[OR(95%CI)=1.002(0.703~1.427)included 1,P=0.992>0.05],indicating a good safety profile. Conclusion On the basis of conventional orthokeratology alone, combined with 0.01%low concentration atropine or RLRL has a superimposed effect on the delay of myopia AL growth and diopter change.More high-quality,multi-center randomized controlled trials are needed in the future to explore its long-term efficacy, safety and better combination therapy.关键词
