Abstract
Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the malignant tumors with high incidence rate and mortality worldwide.Its complexity and high metastasis have brought great challenges to treatment.Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),as one of the most important factors stimulating angiogenesis,plays a crucial role in the occurrence,development,metastasis,and prognosis of CRC.This article reviews the biological characteristics of VEGF and its mechanism of action in CRC,including promoting tumor angiogenesis,regulating the tumor microenvironment,and mediating tumor invasion and metastasis.In addition,this article also explores treatment strategies targeting VEGF and its related pathways,such as Bevacizumab,Tanshinone ⅡA,chemotherapy combination,programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)/VEGF bispecific antibodies,and multi-target kinase inhibitors.These treatment strategies have shown good efficacy in the treatment of CRC,but further research and optimization are still needed.关键词
