Effects of Acupoint Application Combined with Modified Qiongyu Ointment on Lung Function,Immune Function and Levels of Inflammation Factors in Children with Chronic Bronchial Asthma

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of acupoint application combined with Modified Qiongyu Ointment on lung function,immune function and the levels of serum inflammatory factors in children with chronic bronchial asthma.Method:A total of 106 children who diagnosed in Ji'an Central People's Hospital from June 2022 to February 2024 and turned into chronic persistent bronchial asthma after treatment were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 53 children in each group.The control group was treated with the global initiative for asthma(GINA),while the treatment group added acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine and Modified Qiongyu Ointment on the basis of the treatment plan of the control group.After 1 month of treatment,the clinical treatment effect of the two groups was compared,and the lung function,immune function and serum inflammation levels of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The childhood asthma control test(C-ACT)score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of lung function indexes[forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)]in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of immune function indexes(IgG and IgM)in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of serum inflammation[interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-8(IL-8)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint application combined with Modified Qiongyu Ointment can obviously improve the therapeutic effect of children with chronic bronchial asthma,increase lung function in children,improve the immune function of children,reduce the level of serum inflammation.关键词
