摘要

Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a kind of common multiple diseases characterized by ventilation restriction,which mainly occurs in middle-aged and elderly people.Osteoporosis is a common complication of COPD.The significant feature of osteoporosis is that due to changes in the microstructure of bone tissue,bone mass decreases,resulting in increased fragility of bone,thereby increasing the risk of fracture.Fractures caused by osteoporosis may increase morbidity and mortality in patients with COPD and lead to further deterioration of lung function.Therefore,COPD is closely related to osteoporosis.COPD patients have a high incidence of osteoporosis,which may be associated with systemic inflammation,corticosteroid use,vitamin D deficiency,physical inactivity,tobacco exposure,decreased bone mineral density,hypogonadism,hypoxia,and anemia.In clinical practice,the rate of diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in patients with COPD is low.Bone mineral density is a quantitative index used to diagnose and predict osteoporosis and evaluate the efficacy of drug therapy.However,due to the slow process of bone mineral density change,bone metabolism indicators can be used as a sensitive reference to measure the severity of osteoporosis.
