Abstract
Critically ill patients often experience high glucose variability due to various factors,including trauma,surgery,stress,and illness.Healthcare professionals must enhance their capacity for meticulous glucose management in these patients,as it plays a crucial role in improving outcomes.The significance of glucose monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit(ICU)has become increasingly prominent.Continuous glucose monitoring(CGM)is a technique that measures glucose concentration in the interstitial fluid of the patient's subcutaneous tissue,providing an indirect reflection of blood glucose levels.This method aids in understanding a patient's overall glucose status and supports effective glucose management.The advent of this technology supplies comprehensive,continuous,and reliable all-day glucose data for critically ill patients and their clinicians,garnering considerable attention in the field of critical care medicine.关键词
