清代医家刘一明"虚空阴阳丹法"外丹养生思想探析
Analysis of Qing dynasty doctor LIU Yiming's 'void yin-yang alchemy method' and its external alchemy health preserving thought
摘要
Abstract
Chinese taoist and medical philosophy combined to form the concept of internal medicine,resulting in a unique therapeutic approach.Its core tenet lies in creating Dan medicine by heating and compounding ores and precious materials,which are then consumed to achieve eternal immortality and rejuvenation.However,this therapy has historically sparked numerous issues and controversies.Firstly,the substances used in these Dan medicine often contain heavy metals such as lead and mercury,posing potential health risks to human beings.Long-term consumption of such substances not only jeopardizes normal physiological functions but may also cause neurological damage,liver and kidney function abnormalities,and other serious health problems.Secondly,this therapy carries a pronounced air of mysticism,while neglecting the scientific validation and empirical support required for its existence.This overly mystical depiction renders the therapy lacking in credibility and practicality,leading to widespread criticism in society.This paper focuses on an expert from Qing dynasty Quanzhenlong school,LIU Yiming,whose work is entitled'Yin Yang Falong'.The aim of this study is to provide a detailed analysis of the therapeutic approach outlined in LIU Yiming's writings.By examining his descriptions of the processes involved in creating Dan medicine and the mechanisms by which they are consumed,this paper seeks to uncover the scientific principles underlying and risks associated with external Dan medicine therapy.At the same time,this paper strives to promote a rational review of this ancient therapeutic system among scholars,advocating for a scientific attitude towards the controversial aspects of traditional medical practices and seeking innovative health-preserving approaches.Ultimately,this study not only seeks to offer new theoretical perspectives for modern health preserving but also aims to contribute to the inheritance and development of traditional health preseiving.关键词
