Effect of Thunder-Fire Moxibustion Combined with Low-Frequency Pulse Electrical Stimulation on Muscle Tension,Affected Limb Function and Neurological Function in Patients with Post-Stroke Hemiplegia

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with low-frequency pulse electrical stimulation on muscle tension,affected limb function and neurological function in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods:120 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia were randomly divided into the control group(n=60)and the observation group(n=60).The control group was treated with routine treatment plus low-frequency pulse electrical stimulation;on which basis,the observation group was also treated with thunder-fire moxibustion.Muscle tension,affected limb function,neurological function,cerebral hemodynamics and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:After the treatment,the proportions of grade 0 and grade 1 muscle tension were higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of upper and lower limb function of the affected side were higher in the observation group than those in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.05).The neurological function score was lower in the observation group than that in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.05).The pulsatility index(PI)and resistance index(RI)of bilateral middle cerebral arteries were lower,whereas the mean blood flow velocity(Vm)was higher in the observation group than those in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.05).The score of quality of life was higher after the treatment in both groups(P＜0.05),and the score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after the treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion:For patients with post-stroke hemiplegia,thunder-fire moxibustion combined with low-frequency pulse electrical stimulation can improve muscle tension,neurological function and cerebral hemodynamics,enhance affected limb function and promote quality of life.The therapy has a high application value.关键词
