Exploring Theoretical Origin and Clinical Application of'Neck Seven-Line Method'Acupuncture Therapy

Abstract
This study explores the theoretical foundation of the'neck seven-line method'acupuncture therapy from the perspectives of meridians,Zang-Fu organs,acupoints,modem local anatomy,and electro-acupuncture(EA)theory.It also illustrates its clinical applications by discussing its use in treating sudden deafness,migraine,cervical spondylosis,and other head and neck disorder.The neck serves as a crucial hub,connecting the longitudinal pathways of the meridian system,including the root-branch connections as the transverse communication between the Head Qi Street and the Sea of Marrow.It is anatomically and functionally linked to the Brain above and the Heart below while playing a viral role in regulating Liver functions and coordinating Zang-Fu activities.Using the example of the'Tianyou five acupoints'this study highlights how acupoints in the neck region excel in nourishing Yang energy and regulating Qi and blood circulation.The'neck seven-line method'acupuncture prescription not only facilitates the smooth flow of local meridian Qi,but also harmonizes the body's overall Yin-Yang balance.Clinically,it has demonstrated significant efficacy in treating sudden sudden deafness,migraine,and cervical spondylosis.关键词
