Research Progress on Mechanism of Acupuncture Intervention in Neuroinflammation in Depression
摘要
Abstract
Depression is a common mental disorder that severely threatens human health,with neuroinflammation playing a pivotal role in its pathogenesis.Microglial activation is a hallmark of the neuroinflammation response.Acupuncture has been shown to be an effective treatment for depression.The study reviews recent progress in studies on the mechanisms of acupuncture intervention in depression-related neuroinflammation.The findings indicate that acupuncture is closely associated with modulating microglial activation,inflammatory signaling pathways,hippocampal neurogenesis,the brain-gut axis,and autophagy function.关键词
