剪切变稀流体液滴铺展行为的数值模拟研究
Numerical Simulation Research on Spreading Behavior of Shear-Thinning Fluid Droplet

Abstract
A numerical simulation on the spreading process of shear-thinning fluid droplets impacting a solid surface is conducted using the finite element phase-field method with a power-law model.Based on the numerical model,the spreading process of shear-thinning fluid droplets with different physical parameters is calculated for impacts on hydrophilic,neutral,and hydrophobic surfaces,respectively.The results indicate that with different initial droplet velocities,shear-thinning extents,and surface wettability lead to a different maximum spreading factor of from 1.1 to 4.8.Further analysis of the flow field reveals that the droplets exhibit different flow states on surfaces with different wettability.Further analysis of the numerical results indicates that under an identical Weber number(We),the maximum spreading factor βmax of the droplets follows a logarithm relationship with non-Newtonian Reynolds number(Ren)of which the slope increases with an enhancing We.关键词
