Abstract

To address the environmental requirements for refrigerants imposed by global climate change,the thermodynamic properties of R1233zd(E)/R600a mixtures is studied.The liquid thermal conductivity of mixtures with R1233zd(E)mass fractions of 90%,80%,70%,60%,50%and 40%is measured using the transient hot-wire method across the temperature range of 273~300 K.A mathematical correlation is developed to describe the relationship between thermal conductivity and temperature/mass fraction,maximum relative deviation and average absolute deviations of 0.37%and 0.0012,respectively,between experimental and correlated values.Furthermore,multiple methods are used to predict thermal conductivity,all showing good accuracy in modeling the thermal conductivity and its temperature-dependent behavior of mixed working fluids across the studied temperature range.The Jamieson equation,in particular,closely matched experimental data with its simple form,rendering it ideal for engineering applications.
