摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of Raspberry tannin on the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities in D-galactose-induced aging mice.Methods:Sixty male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into five groups:blank control group,model group,positive control group,and low,medium,and high-dose Raspberry tannin groups,with 10 mice in each group.After 8 weeks of continuous intragastric administration,superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activity,total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC),and malondialdehyde(MDA)content in the liver and brain tissues were measured.Hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining was used to evaluate the cellular damage in liver and brain tissues.Serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-18(IL-18),and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)were detected using ELISA.Results:Raspberry tannin significantly increased the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in liver and brain tissues(P<0.05,P<0.01),enhanced T-AOC,and reduced MDA content(P<0.05,P<0.01).It inhibited the expression levels of pro-inflammatory factors TNF-α,IL-6,IL-18,and IL-1β in serum(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Raspberry tannin improves the antioxidant capacity of D-galactose-induced aging mice,protects liver and brain tissues from oxidative damage,and alleviates inflammatory states.
