摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To provide reference for the prevention and control of Escherichia coli disease and clinical medication in pigeon breed-ing.[Method]The isolated strains were analyzed through bacterial isolation and identification,drug sensitivity testing,animal pathogenicity tes-ting,and detection of resistance genes and virulence genes.[Result]The results showed that one strain of Escherichia coli was isolated from the liver tissue of deceased pigeons,one strain from the anal swab of diarrheal pigeons,and one strain from the dead embryo pigeon egg,named E.coli-SW,E.coli-FX,E.coli-SP.Three strains of Escherichia coli were sensitive to cefotaxime,ceftriaxone,and amikacin,and resistant to 15 other drugs.The resistance genes of TEM,aacC2,aacC4,qnrA,sul1,sul2,floR,and tetA could be detected.Three strains of Escherichia coli could kill mice,the virulence genes fyuA and irp2 were detected in E.coli-SW and E.coli-FX,while no virulence genes were detected in E.coli-SP.[Con-clusion]Three isolated strains of Escherichia coli have multiple drug resistance and certain pathogenicity,providing reference for the prevention and research of Escherichia coli disease of pigeons in the local area.
