Abstract
As the mother river of Beijing,the ecological restoration of Yongding River is a central objective in constructing a green ecological corridor.This study proposed a differentiated vegetation restoration strategy based on a"zoning-classification-grading"framework according to the partition of distinct river sections,including the mountainous gorge segment,the urban plain segment,and the suburban plain segment.This strategy was implemented by further integrating with the five functional zones from the main river channel,inundation zones,floodplain protection zones,shoreline management zones,and shoreline conservation zones.By employing a hydrological-ecological engineering approach,species-specific vegetation configurations were implemented,which selected suitable tree,shrub,grass,and aquatic plant species to establish multi-layered and composite vegetation communities.These measures enhanced riparian vegetation connectivity,ecological landscape integrity,water retention and purification capacity,and overall biodiversity.These findings provide a scientific foundation and technical guidance for riverine ecological restoration in semi-arid regions of northern China.关键词
