Abstract
Zhaitang Reservoir is a typical medium-sized reservoir in the karst region of northern China,primarily recharged by groundwater.In the absence of surface runoff,the reservoir water level exhibits an increasing trend.To understand the variation patterns of reservoir inflow,this study systematically analyzed its characteristics and composition using daily monitoring data from January 2016 to May 2024 based on the water balance method and wavelet analysis.Additionally,the lagged response of inflow variations to precipitation was examined.The results showed that reservoir inflow increased initially and then decreased after the onset of the flood season.The annual average groundwater inflow was approximately 10.34 million m3,accounting for 67%-99%of the total inflow from 2016 to 2023.Precipitation had a noticeable lagged effect on inflow,with a lag time of 0~4 months.These findings provide a scientific basis for water resource regulation and management in Zhaitang Reservoir.关键词
