Abstract
To quantitatively assess the impact of river dredging on flood conveyance,this study focused on the section of Yongding River from the north of the Fangshan Subway Line to Jingliang Road.A two-dimensional hydrodynamic model was established using HEC-RAS software based on measured topographic data to simulate flood processes under different peak flow rates.The changes in flood inundation range,water depth,and flow velocity before and after dredging were analyzed.The results showed that the inundation range after dredging was slightly smaller than before dredging,with the difference decreasing as peak flow increasing.The water depth decreased by no more than 8 cm in most sections,indicating the insignificant variation.The flow velocity change proportion ranged from-3.76%to 15.13%,with the largest change occurring at section K9+100 m due to the removal of water obstruction after excavation.The simulation results provide technical support for the scientific and rational management of Yongding River and serve as a reference for similar projects.关键词
