Abstract

In order to address the stringent technical standards for deep-hole anchoring and the formidable challenge of controlling drilling deviations in aged hydraulic concrete structures,a rigorous comparative experimental investigation was undertaken,with a particular focus on the risk mitigation and reinforcement project of the Lugou Bridge Flood Diversion Hub situated on the Yongding River.This study aimed to critically evaluate the effectiveness of deviation control techniques in the context of reinforcing hydraulic engineering structures.The empirical results obtained from this study demonstrated that all experimental holes met the stringent criterion of"The verticality deviation of anchoring holes at connection nodes should not exceed 1%of the hole depth by employing a laser level for precise deviation control during the drilling process and adopting sophisticated"three-stage"and"two-stage"hole formation methodologies."Subsequent meticulous measurements confirmed that the verticality deviations were consistently less than 1 cm,with no evidence of cracking or structural damage observed in the concrete surface of the pier top.A comprehensive technical and economic analysis further substantiated the benefits of these methodologies,revealing potential cost savings of 464,000 yuan and a reduction in construction time by approximately 36 days.These findings underscore the significant potential of these techniques to enhance construction efficiency and reduce project costs in a meaningful way.In conclusion,the research outcomes provide robust technical support for the broader application and implementation of these deviation control techniques in the field of engineering,contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in this critical area.
