Research progress in zirconia toughened alumina ceramics
摘要
Abstract
Zirconia toughened alumina(ZTA)ceramics exhibit excellent mechanical properties compared to single-phase Al2O3 and ZrO2 ceramics,demonstrating broader application prospects in high-end industrial fields such as electronics,biomedicine,and semiconductors.This paper reviews the toughening mechanism of ZTA ceramics and summarizes recent research progress,both domestic and international,on three aspects:powder preparation,sintering methods,and the introduction of the third phase.It focuses on analyzing the role of third-phase incorporation in ZTA ceramics through the use of various sintering techniques and processing methods.Finally,it points out that the nano-structuring of powders,fine control of advanced sintering techniques,and exploration of the microstructure through third-phase modulation are key directions for future research.关键词
